The Galle Gladiators, assigned top players to their squad, Shahid Afridi who recently turned 40, become the top paid foreign player alongside Colin Ingram with $50,000 base salary. Lasith Malinga, the star cricketer of Sri Lanka team hold top contract deal with Galle Gladiators upto $60,000 base salary.
Hazratullah Zazai, the Afghan cricket also joined the team of Galle Gladiators. Pakistan current wicket-keeper Sarfraz Ahamed, Azam Khan and Muhammad Amir also part of the Galle Gladiators in the Lankan Premier League 2020. All international players earn base salary once the confirmed their availability for the LPL 2020 season.
